I am pleased to report that last night’s performance with the Buena High School Show Band went very well. The show was a variety salute to Broadway hits and included guest instrumentalist, vocalists and dancers. In addition to the Dancers from the Alma Dolores International Dance Studio, the show featured performances Limelight Studio, Sierra Vista Ballet, and local professional singers. It was a joy to perform “All That Jazz” with the teen dancers from the studio. I am so thankful that Alma asked me to participate in show because of the fun of singing with a live jazz band. Buena High School has a very deep performing arts and music program. Their talent really showed in the bands musical proficiency and their own featured singers repertoire.

Saturday, September 15th, the Huachuca Youth Football and Cheer Association will be holding their Season Opening Ceremony around 12:00 between the Mighty Might and Pee Wee football games. They plan to have a Color Guard there and have asked me to sing the National Anthem. This will be my third year in a row to have this honor. I am always thrilled when groups asked me to sing anything patriotic, especially the National Anthem.

So happy to hear the Salute to Broadway was really great. I know you and Sean had fun performing in such an event.

Good luck with the Opening Ceremony and singing the National Anthem!
